The University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Amsterdam Centre for Tax Law are organizing Gulf Tax Day 2023. This is a one-day training for past, current and prospective students of UvA Advanced Master’s (LL.M.) International Tax Law.
For this event, esteemed experts are gathering in the field of GCC taxation, who will offer a comprehensive tax update, in-depth analysis of domestic and international tax developments, as well as discuss strategic focus areas in the industry.
Thomas VANHEE, partner with AURIFER in Dubai, will be sharing his expertise on the Corporate Income Tax in the UAE and how the new law is set to transform the business and taxation landscape of the country. He will be joined by other distinguished experts, including Prof. Dr Sjoerd DOUMA, Director of UvA Advanced Master’s (LL.M.) International Tax Law; Dr. Giorgio BERETTA, Assistant Professor at UvA; and Halil ERDEM, Group Head of Tax at CAREEM who will talk about VAT in the GCC countries.
The UvA’s Gulf Tax Day will be held on Monday 15 May 2023, from 9am onwards at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
