The International Business Structuring Association (IBSA) is a global community for entrepreneurs and professional advisors dealing with international business structuring across multiple jurisdictions. The IBSA supports its members in obtaining information and advice worldwide to create and maintain sustainable business structures compliant with international transparency, corporate governance and social responsibility.
The IBSA organized its 2023 Conference on Thursday 11 May in London (UK), where they explored four case studies dealing with the following issues:
- IP considerations
- growth finance & private equity funding
- insolvency & restructuring arrangements
- licensing agreements
- exit strategies on sale of businesses
- changes in tax residence
- employment incentives for key staff
- US, UK, EU & Asian international tax issues
The IBSA hosted a panel of international speakers that engaged delegates in discussions on their particular topic, similar to the highly acclaimed meetings held by the IBSA branches globally throughout the year. This conference is a must for entrepreneurs who may be involved in some of the issues discussed, as well as professional advisers engaged in the field of media law, real estate, insolvency and restructuring, employment law, corporate finance, international tax and the provision of corporate services.
