AIJA – International Association of Young Lawyers is hosting an extraordinary event in Vaduz that promises to be an eye-opening journey into the world of cryptocurrencies, blockchains, and NFTs.
We are honoured to participate in the academic program that will cover a wide range of topics around cryptocurrencies, blockchains and NFTs, with a special focus on different practice areas, like Commercial Fraud, Regulatory, IP & Taxation.
Gregory will be a moderator on the tax panel. Together with other tax experts from Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the Netherlands, we will dive into the ever-evolving tax landscape surrounding cryptocurrencies, discuss the latest developments and analyse how tax authorities are trying to keep up with this ever-evolving environment.
A kick-off session will cover the technicalities, with subsequent sessions focusing on the regulatory aspects and tax implications of cryptocurrencies. There will also be different case studies around the essence and value of NFTs, asset tracing, and money laundering. The tax panel will be built around a fictitious crypto investment project that will allow the tax experts to bring their knowledge and experience to the table.
